Mid-century Seiko Sea Lion M77 (Reference 8305-9000). Manufactured in October 1968, this "Business" style dress watch features the high-grade 30-jewel automatic movement, part of Seikos celebrated "Slimline" series.
Key Features:
Dial: Beautiful original silver sunburst dial with applied (AD) markers. The dial features a warm, authentic vintage patina, a highly sought-after look that proves its original, un-restored condition.
Movement: Caliber 8305 Automatic. Keeping good time.
Case Back: Features a highly preserved, crisp "Sea Lion M77" engravingrare to find this sharp!
Condition: Crystal has been polished with Polywatch for improved clarity. Stainless steel case is in honest, unpolished vintage condition.
Character Note: Second hand shows a slight "stutter/hesitation," a documented quirk of the indirect-drive system in the 8305 movement; it does not affect timekeeping.
