7” Rose Quartz Censer Foo Dog Lid Elephant Handles Rings Stand Natural

Beautiful hand-carved rose quartz censer featuring a guardian foo dog (lion) lid, elephant-head handles with free-moving rings, and a tripod footed base. Includes the original carved hardwood stand. The underside is marked 4131, consistent with mid-century Chinese stone-carving workshop numbering.
This piece is carved from natural rose quartz, and as a result it shows all of the typical characteristics of genuine stone. Throughout the piece there are visible mineral inclusions, including areas that appear silvery or metallic inside the stone. These are natural mica/hematite inclusions that formed during the crystal’s growth. The surface also has natural fissure lines, light internal fractures, cloudy areas, and slight color variations, which are normal for rose quartz.
Some carved areas show small spots and surface irregularities, including one tiny surface nick on the body (pictured). These spots and marks are part of either the original hand-carving process or the natural structure
