Based on a Greek design, the Alexa Chair from Bungalow 5 has hand-carved scrolling, a rounded top edge, and a unique swooped silhouette. Produced in hand-limed oak—a process which Bungalow 5 taught the craftsmen over their years of collaboration—the Alexa Chair is pared back with little ornamentation.
The chair has hand-carved details—like the elegant scrolls that top the chair’s backrest—and a refined design. The front of the chair’s legs top edge is rounded by hand to elevate the overall silhouette. The natural linen drop-in cushion can be easily removed for professional re-upholstery.
This Alexa Chair is multi-functional and extremely comfortable. Its minimal style lends to both modern and traditional decors. The piece could be used as an office chair, a dining chair, a vanity seat or in an entryway.
