Antique Victorian Quadruple Silverplate Brides Basket / Compote
Made by C.E. Silverplate Co., Hartford, CT
This ornate footed dish features deeply embossed Rococo Revival floral and scroll detailing with a central grape motif, and a hinged handle.
The piece is marked “Quadruple Plate," indicating a high-grade silver-plated finish.
Circa 1890–1910.
Basket measures 9" diameter & 4" tall
Handle drop is approx 6"
Condition: Used vintage condition. There is tarnishing & scratching on the silver plate. I notice there may be a missing embellishment on handle as there is some metal residue. 2 uniform tarnishing lines on bottom of basket as well. No major dents. Please see all photos!
