Rare Vintage or Antique Anton Reiche Dresden flat metal chocolate candy mold that makes six log-shaped candies, often called the Yule Log mold. This mold is not marked: it is most frequently attributed to Anton Reiche Dresden, with mold number 15459 or 15245. The finished product could have a Christmas theme or perhaps be part of a gnome or woodland scene.
Nice vintage condition with wear and discoloration from age, use, and storage. It appears to be a functional mold. Note that this is an open, flat mold that includeds only the one piece shown in the photos. Total size is about 4 1/4" tall and 6 3/4" wide; each piece of candy would be about 3 3/4" tall and 3/4" wide.
