This is a 1 inch Jade, not Nephrite, Jade vintage custom made Jewelry pieces. It was made in the 1980s by my friend(Gemstone dealer) Irwin Tuttie ex-wife( Elizabeth Tuttue).who was the artist name at the time. I recently put a gold plated clasp so it could be worn. I wore it twice. I have seen the Nephrite turtles from 70's, this turtles has so much more detail. I did a very hot needle test 3 times, not Evan, a scratch.
