【Remarks】
The suspender buttons that were present up to the 1933 model are gone, and this model features hidden rivets on the back pockets, marking a transitional period where the specifications changed significantly from work overalls to jeans.
Levi's devised an innovative manufacturing method where the fabric covered the rivets, concealing them, and obtained a patent for it in 1937.
The 1937 model 501XX faithfully reproduces those details.
It uses denim from the valuable Cone Denim White Oak factory.
The details are meticulously reproduced, including the 10oz (12oz after washing) Cone Mills XX denim with a characteristic deep color, a relatively thin leather patch, a cinch back, crotch rivets, a single-sided E red tab, and red selvage. Furthermore, the unique details of Levi's are reproduced, such as the distortion of the Arcuate stitch and the upper edge of the pocket, which is pulled as if by hidden rivets.
