Mount Skukum Historic Lake Mine Gold Orebody Rock Mineral Specimen with quartz replacing calcite and a wonderful gray mineralized clast full of small cubic pyrite crystals where the vein contacted either a hanging or footwall of the rich gold deposit developed by AGIP and processed in a 300 TPD ball mill located along Butte Creek in the southern Yukon in Canada. This specimen measures approximately 3 inches wide and weighs 281.3 grams and was collected during the 1980s where I was fortunate to work for a company called Omni Resources Inc and legally acquired this during my tenure in 1997-1998. Some of the best ore returned refractory gold grades up to 40 ounces per ton with high grade unmined potential remaining to this day. This specimen is in as found condition very rare item worth displaying in a serious collection or museum. Please review the pictures for details and size measurement information, thank you.
