Valerian is native to Europe and parts of Asia but also grows in North America. The root is used for traditional medicines, and it has a pungent odour which is known to attract cats. Herbalists have used valerian root medicines for thousands of years to help those with sleep disturbance. It was even prescribed to soldiers during and after World War 1. Some of the other names given to Valerian include Phu (because of the strong smell), All-Heal and Vandal Root.
Natures Aid SleepEezy Valerian is a traditional herbal medicine used for the temporary relief of sleep disturbances due to symptoms of mild uneasiness - based on traditional use only. The effects of this product may not occur immediately. The tablets should therefore be taken continuously for 2 - 4 weeks.
Each Natures Aid SleepEezy tablet contains 150mg of extract (as dry extract) from Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis L). This provides equivalent to 750 – 900mg of Valerian root. You can be assured that SleepEezy is both vegan friendly and free from common allergens such as gluten, yeast, dairy, soya, and nuts.
