This fan controller uses a 3.5 drive bay which is handy if you are out of 5.25 bays or just want a more compact package. The four knobs are lit by a blue LED that indicates relative fan speed. As the speed of each fan is turned up, the corresponding blue LED gets brighter. When each knob is at the fully counter-clockwise position, the output voltage on that channel is 7V. At the fully clockwise position, the output voltage is 12V. It is not recommended to use variable speed fans with this controller. If you do use variable speed fans, turn the fan speed all the way up on the fan's own controller so that you can use the drive bay controller to control its speed.Specifications:
