Omni Mine Polymetallic Gold Silver Ore Mineral Specimen measuring 4.75 Inch width and weighing 520.4 grams. This item was collected in King Canyon by me in the 1998 Yukon Territory Field Season located in the Wheaton River Area while working for Omni Resources Inc. The specimen has iron pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena, stibnite and arsenopyrite crystals mineralized within brecciated and healed clear and bull quartz vein clasts along with some angular rhyolite fragments. I use an Estwing rock hammer to recover this mineral then used a diamond bladed saw to the ends in two places to better exposure the stone matrix for closer evaluation so is raw but modified for geoscience purposes.
