This is a Pilot fountain pen, model 53R, from the 1950s.
The cap is gold-filled with a lined design. The nib is 14K size 4. It's soft and allows for delicate writing. The line width varies from extra-fine to medium-fine depending on the pressure applied. The feed is a chip-fill type, still seen in the Custom series today. You can fill it just by submerging the nib up to the heart-shaped breather hole. The feed and barrel are made of ebonite. I liked it because it's light and doesn't cause fatigue even after long use. The lever filler functions properly.
There are a few minor dents and scratches on the cap. The barrel also has some areas where the lacquer has chipped. These do not affect its functionality, so please consider this if you are not concerned about these points.
