Stunning vintage mid century modern artwork. This 4 panel, foldable silk screen painting features an outdoor scene of a group of lions laying in the sun. It has beautiful shades of pink, orange, brown, and green. A truly unique, standout piece!
I believe this is an Asian silk painting - The look and features of this piece, such as the brass hardware, resemble other Japanese Byobu and Chinese silk panel paintings of the time period.
Handpainted. It features hammered brass detailing around the edges. Easily folds for easy storing. Can be hung on the wall or displayed standing up.
Measures approx. 60" x 29" --- Each panel is 15" x 29"
Condition: There is some wear around the painting including some spots of water damage and other marks/stains it has developed over the years. There is also a small tear/hole in the fabric in the lower right corner.
Overall, it is still in good vintage condition. No one will notice the flaws when they are ogling this piece!
