This vintage Metropolitan Brief is a beloved Coach silhouette first introduced in 1987. This particular bag is from before 1994 - likely late 80s or early 90s according to the creed. She appears to be putty color (or possibly British Tan)?
She shows her 40 years of age with her deep scratches and patina. While she does come with her strap, you'll probably want to replace it because it's in pretty sad shape - I conditioned it but it has lots of rips all along the sides. She also has a small rip on the buckle area. Somehow she's kept her original, one sided hangtag throughout the years! I've tried to accurately capture the condition of this bag in the pictures.
I've cleaned her inside and out. I used saddle soap and conditioned her with Leather CPR. She was very dry and thirsty, but she's softer now.
