Vintage MacKenzie-Childes large rectangular ceramic Torquay platter. I bought this at MacKenzie-Childs pottery in Aurora, NY some time in the mid to late 1990s. Approximately 9.5 x 14.5 inches. Like with all of their handmade pottery, this platter isn't perfectly straight. This is the classic MacKenzie-Childs look. Checker board design with floral and polka dot patterns on the front and stripes on the bottom. It has some crazing in the glaze, as shown in the photos. Also some gold loss. Sorry about the expensive shipping...it is large and heavy!
