Exceptional Vintage Murano Alfredo Barbini tri-color Geode Sommerso clear and opaque blown glass bowl with fluted edges. 6" round. The beautifully fluted, pinched edge show a clear deep orange glass top with a dark swirl of black glass with sparkles over a white opaque glass and a third layer, a gorgeous clear teal color glass. Stunning! In excellent, artisan made, one of a kind, well cared for condition. There are no cracks, chips or other issues. From a glass collector's own inventory. He sold all of his collection before his death 10yrs ago. His widow found this in a box he'd forgotten about and she has asked me to sell. The information I've used to describe the bowl came from notes he kept that she has attributed to this bowl she identified as the piece he was referring to. No sign of use or wear.
