This one is so good! Solid sterling silver brooch with an open work design of a bird on a branch with flowers . Signed Bauring Sterling. It’s slightly domed. It’s about 2.25” diameter and weighs 20 grams. Bauring was a company in the 1930's started by a man name Baur that was known for making sterling silver jewelry. Baur designed and made all the jewelry. His company was financed by an investor with the name Ring who was also the accountant. Baur died around 1943. After he died the the company continued producing jewelry under the "BAUR over STERL with the shared ING" hallmark. The hallmark became BaurING - capitalized for Ring. Their designs are known for their quality and craftsmanship, with pieces often featuring floral motifs and detailed workmanship
