All functions have been checked, adjusted, and cleaned, including recording (internal microphone, external microphone), playback (speed control, normal/2x mode, pause, V.O.R), and tape counter.
The sound quality of recording and playback devices is greatly affected by the rubber belt used. Inexpensive Chinese-made products are sold, but they are not uniform in width and thickness, which causes rotational unevenness, resulting in sound fluctuations and unpleasant sounds.
Genuine parts are no longer available for this old model.
This product uses a custom-made (equivalent quality to genuine parts) product from a Japanese specialist manufacturer.
